WASHINGTON
LATINX YOUTH INNOVATION
CHALLENGE
August 14th, 2021
About the Challenge
WLYIC is a virtual competition to motivate, empower, and encourage young Latinx and the BIPOC community in Washington State.
This challenge cultivates innovative technological solutions to social and industrial issues and helps youth find the tools to take an idea and make it into a business project. Latinx youth will be provided with a platform and an opportunity to learn about and engage with STEM. The challenge will also inspire the youth and demonstrate how their interest in STEM can be incorporated into a wide variety of careers.
